Description

While working as a small supporting actor in a movie, Ki Man Sung has nothing else going for him.
However, that was when ,through mysterious circumstance, the movie set had become reality during filming.
With the sound of the director’s cut, during that short take, he’s not an actor but actually thrown into the events occurring, showing the pain and emotions he faces in that moment.

I loved the first 3 chapters

Art and coloring was jaw dropping. 9 out of 10. By chapter 36 I've reduced my rating to 2 out of 10.

A love triangle, really? So stupid.

MC never tries to figure out how his powers worked. What really triggers it.

He never fights to get out of his shitty contract. He was so sweet and naive, and that was refreshing but it turned out that's all he is.

Barely rubbed two brain cells together to do anything. Things just happen to him and he goes with it.

I wished he'd grow a pair and started trying to solve crimes but nope. Ugh. Waste of such a good story.

Loosing it's way

As others say the story seems to loose it's way after a while, from the tunnel movie and forth it's rather underwhelming, that arc could have been much more engaging and tense but it takes another road. It seems to prefer to focus on the romance rather than the MC's experiences and the psychological implications of them. On the other hand, the link between his "acting escapades" and reality is an interesting development. It's still rather early in the story so the author can still take it wherever he wants, what's for sure is that I found the first 20 or so chapters way more interesting than the later 20 or so. Which means, I hope it changes it's route and returns in part at least to it's roots.

Started Great, then got lost.

This started off as an amazing story. The art was great, everything about it was just enjoyable.

Right around chapter 28, it went and got too serious with itself. The art fell off a cliff.

The author lost his own plot.

So it starts with this happening to hi and he has no idea why andthe tension comes form him living through the horrible things his character lives through.
Then it starts getting into the interesting realities of what this could do to a person's psyche...then it kind of ignores that to go on and be an over-the-top success story with the power being incredibly OP (And the love interests development comes too easy, too). And now it's back to more serious things about the mystery of this phenomenon and him making at least one stupid decision..

And all that is in 43 chapters.
It just seems confused, so my high expectations have lowered. It'll still be entertaining, just more a 7.5 entertaining rather than the 8.5+ I was hoping for with this premise. So I'll continue to read and see how it goes.

Art now is awkward and the story feels rushed and unsatisfying. I don't mind stories where the mc has a lot more success than setbacks, but this is too much.

This good of a colorist deserves better than a wannabe pornhwa lineart that can't even draw the same character twice. Reminds me of Killmax in a bad way.

The story is a mess and forcing the "romance" so hard.

Edit: SEASON 2 ART IS EVEN WORSE WTF?? My eyes feel so violated, I shouldn't have checked. It seems like the colorist realized this isn't worth their time tho, good for them.

E2: Reduced my rating because girl what? This horrendous shit went through an editor, a storyboard phase, a line artist, a colorist, a typesetter, a publisher with QC and stuff, and you're telling me NONE of them objected to its shameful existence??

havent read this one and doesnt seem like i'm going to considering the indefinite hiatus.
But i was reading this other manhwa "I Became a Top Actor Just by Reading Books!" and it kept getting compared to 'movies are real' tho with some differences noted.
Maybe check that one out instead.
