For a manga so interested in worldbuilding and fleshing out its setting, it is incredibly shallow.
This series is a harem power fantasy. That's not a death sentence in and of itself, but it is inescapably a harem power fantasy and exudes all the worst traits of being one.
For starters, there's no reason for the characters to actually like the male lead. (Almost) Every single woman who is interested in him is interested on vague reasons the author can't pin down. His kindness, the strength of his spirit, the vibes of his magic, hell one character literally says she loves him for "the shape of his soul". In the whole series, only two characters have a real reason to love him, and they get effectively zero pagetime.
Which goes into my next point: Character bloat. There are so many characters in this series. Four goddesses, six demon kings, the servants of those demon kings, each of whom have at least one but up to seven, his personal demon retainer, the two girls that were transported with him, the human hero, two human kings, a human princess, three elves, two hybrid maids, and an assassin. That's just off the top of my head, I guarantee you there are more I'm forgetting. My God, there's as many characters as there are chapters, and none of them beyond the MC get enough time devoted to them. Even the main female lead barely actually gets time devoted to her, she'll literally disappear for ten chapters straight at times.
And amongst them... They're all women, and they all love him. Male characters basically don't exist, and when they show up, it's only for one chapter. I'm pretty sure only one male character other than the MC has a name, and I wouldn't put it past them to reveal they're actually a woman because the series has already pulled that twice! Of those women, almost all of them are explicitly in love with him, and those that are not, are implied to like him. I cannot think of a single female character who has been presented as actually uninterested in him.
All this lumps together to make the entire world feel vapid and shallow. The MC is all that matters, and the entire world revolves around him. Even then, you could maybe make something out of that if the MC were interesting or had a unique perspective on things, but he is the blandest motherfucker in existence. He isn't skilled, or smart, or strong, he doesn't have a significant background beyond vague implications, he doesn't have grand ambitions or strong opinions of anything. His most defining character trait is that he is "kind", but that is usually presented by him being entirely passive or taking actions that can only be described as basic human decency. No, you aren't kind for giving a gift to someone you already have a positive relationship with or refusing to hurt someone when you don't have anything to gain from doing so. You're normal. You're bland. But the world worships him for it. Here's where I'd say "men want to be him, women want to fuck him", but men don't even exist.
It's such a shame. There is genuinely interesting worldbuilding going on and some of the side characters are actually interesting, but it is completely flooded out by the intense need to hyperfixate on and kiss the feet of the most milquetoast man in existence.
