The Duke of Arkholme, a very handsome and very bored bachelor, organizes a musical Competition to add some spice to his life and satisfy his love for good music. But much to the Duke's chagrin, the Competition falls flat ... until he is awakened one night by beautiful music from his own piano, played by an equally beautiful young woman. From that moment on, boredom is banished from the Duke's life as he pursues the mysterious Vanola across England to win her heart.
