I didn't like it, Arai Hitoshi looks like a very child, he's 19 years old and Maa is 10 years older than him.
Does Maa like Arai for his innocence, crying, snot?
Lots of things don't make sense to me.
I don't think it's a love story or just a sex story.
The most interesting thing was the story between Maa-Kun and Nakamoto

could have been more… lost direction midway through

I found the MC very unlikable at first, but he grew on me quickly. I can see how objectively this might not be a perfect manga, but something about it hits just right for me. Usually everything I read fades to a blur after a few days, but somehow this has stayed vivid in my mind for months. So if you're on the fence, I suggest giving it a shot!

Having the visual and narrative parallels to the story of Aladdin really made this story stand out to me. I especially loved the panel of Ma-kun coming out of the trunk of the car, super tall and imposing over the tiny Hitoshi-kun.

I definitely thought that this story was going to be wilder than it was, but I'm glad it took the simpler approach. I really liked how Asada Nemui decided to focus entirely on developing the three characters instead of trying to add more plot and complicate things. As a result, we have three fully fleshed out characters and their conflict with each other entirely clear instead of a muddled plot. It's mentioned that we never explore Ma-kun's past, but I don't think we need to in the grand scheme of things. It's not relevant to his story with Hitoshi or Tatsumi. I actually REALLY enjoyed Tatsumi, he's so alluring. Too bad that his true love is crimes instead of being domestic with Ma-kun. Loved the story!

I read the official translation from Futekiya.
The story telling felt a little...unplanned? I mean the artist obviously changed their mind about where this story was going after the first chapter. The artist did admit as much in the afterword.
And later some Big Awful stuff happened that actually got sorted...too easily? Haha.
And Mah's backstory was mentioned but never explored. We actually don't know very much about him at all.
Well anyway, despite the problems with story telling, I actually really like this manga!
I like that the main character is so ordinary and human. I like that that's the precise reason Mah is drawn to him after a life of crime.
I liked the size difference, and in the end I liked that Mah was respectful and patient to his young, inexperienced lover.
It was a really sweet manga in the end and I'll probably read it again in the future.
