This one was pretty nice and enjoyable.The characters weren't that unbearable except for Haru, who was in fact a huge d-bag and a dick. As for the crying, I always expect boat loads of crying and misunderstandings, so I don't even include that in reviews; it's a necessity for shoujo mangas apparently.Anyways, I like that they didn't add unnecessary side characters or drama to ruin the plot and any shoujo manga where the girl chooses the second guy is alright with me 😉 .

I thought this story was entertaining just because I'm a sucker for this type of story. It's nice if you're looking for a short read. Of course the characters aren't going to have much depth since it's so brief, but I appreciated the fact that the lead girl (Mako) wasn't too much of an idiot. The only thing that I didn't like was the amount she cried. In the beginning, I could understand her pain, but it became a little too melodramatic as the story progressed. Her oblivious childhood friend (Haru) was the only character that I was annoyed with, but I guess it wouldn't be the same without him there. I'm sure that this story could have more elaborate. It felt kind of rushed at the end so I wasn't completely satisfied, but I think it was just meant to be short, simple, and sweet (which was what I was looking for) so I'm fine. Yes, I'm leaving out something because I don't want to spoil it. Read if you're curious.

Mako is a very weak character that the mangaka keeps trying to "man-up" with the whole look-she-does-kendo-she's-tough-she-can-take-your-crap... but no, she can't really. because she will go and bawl behind a dumpster or something. So that's annoying. And the friend is cute and sweet and then WHOA HOLD ON A SEC, he's a bit of an arse. Hm. Still I like the kendo-dude so I'm rating this one nicely. And like an idiot I didn't see the pairing in the end, so was pleased with the results! Just don't really bother if you're looking for any deep characterization.

I really enjoyed it... until the last chapter. I mean,

he tried so hard for his club just to spend more time with her? Bullpoop!! He loved kendo way before he even met her, and never stopped loving it! Crushes don't change that or even really influence that! Seems just like the author's way of upping the "aww >w<" factor a couple notches. Well it's not working for me at least.[/rant]

the plot was typical shoujo and the art was ok too. I just loved that she ended up with the "other guy" - unlike other shoujo manga where the nice guy get brokenhearted. Although i did feel a few pangs of sympathy for da best friend -coz i love 'longtime-bestfriend- turn-lovers' love stories ^_^

mako cries in almost every chapter =[ not something readers would like in the herione of the manga. plusss it's fine that she didn't get haru, cause now WE can have himm x] but seriously, he's hawwwttt

Why does Mako cry ALL THE DAMN TIME!? D:
Thank goodness for her macho man in the end.
In truth, I had to read a few spoilers, because I didn't want this to end I thought it would. Thank goodness it didn't. :]

And the comparison between Zero and Sayama...ehh...
The LOOKS, maybe.

I'm just irritated with Zero's "I don't deserve you, Yuki! I'm so stupid!" phase...

i loved how it ended and im glad she ended up with the guy i wanted her to i like it when the story go a bit different like this some times. its great though the girl just is to weak always crying but it was great ending

Just your regular love triangle tossed into one volume... not original, of course, but still enjoyable.

Mako cries every chapter. >_>; I mean, every page. It's so annoying after a while. But I did like the end... uh, well, sorta.

I liked that she ended up with Sayama, since Haru was kinda too whiny and bitchy, and yea... but the ending was kinda stupid overall, past the final couple. >_>;

for you vampire knight fans out there sayama totally looks like zero from vampire knight only i think hes a lil fuller lol still sexy but the main girl is supposed to be all strong but all she does is cry and learn towards any guy who shows her comfort lol. it was pretty dramatic but im looking foward to seeing who she chooses.
