The experienced Inspector Kazuhiko and the pre-graduate Michihisa are a loving homosexual couple. But Kazuhiko is always busy and seems to constantly find himself in trouble while Michihisa gets into just as much trouble himself! Frustrated with the little time they have together, Kazuhiko seeks help from Michihisa but the latter, not wanting to bother the already work-overloaded Kazuhiko, continually attempts to solve these problems on his own...

The story is flat and there is nothing that takes the art of the illustrations from well executed to memorable nor the story from casually interesting to commited reading. It's lacking drama on both counts, but still, it's pretty and sweet at a very basic level.
For a first time experiencer of Kanbe-sensei, start elsewhere. My suggestion is her 'Bittersweet Cafe'/'Love or Pride'/etc series. She does a great job of creating 'universe' and drama in that series.
