It's impressive how the author manages to make over 200 chapters of nothing!
This is a series I dropped, due to it having no progress ever and relying on the same gags over and over. It really feels much longer than it really is, it quickly gets pretty boring. Not even the introduction of the second couple could save it at that point. However, it's not offensive to the eye and the characters are not presented in some creepy, unsavory way, at least from what I remember. If you like torturing yourself with mangas like Gekkan Shoujo, this will be a treat for you. If not, skip it and just read a better shoujo or a better shogi manga.
