A very rare SasuNaru from Emi! It's always nice to see doujinshika mix up the pairing order every now and again, particularly with this pairing.

Kizu is a lovely, subtle doujinshi where, despite the story being told from Naruto's point of view, we are clearly shown the confusion both boys feel over their relationship: Naruto feels ashamed of his feelings for Sasuke and tries to repress them, while Sasuke struggles with trying to express his own. Although there isn't a lot of action in the story--mostly a lot of talking, primarily during sex (all of which is very tastefully done and won't traumatize anyone not into hardcore yaoi)--the story comes to a nice, emotionally satisfying conclusion; I didn't feel as though anything was left hanging, particularly between Naruto and Sasuke. (Although we don't get to see the rescue attempt, Emi leaves us feeling pretty confident that it will work out.) Having said all that, if you don't like short works, (then you should probably avoid doujinshi altogether), you still probably won't care for this one as it was only meant to encapsulate a specific moment in time, but for my money, this is one of Emi's very best doujinshi.
