Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Here we have a very rather sad tale of a lonely girl trying her best to sail through life after the divorce of her parents. She's unsure and apprehensive about the odd-ball visitor from the future how claims she needs Youko's egg cells, but learns to accept and enjoy her company.
The conclusion is bittersweet, but rather satisfying nonetheless, because as they say, it's better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all.

I wasn't especially fond of the art, but it was consistent and well rounded.
That scene that serves as the cover image on this page is a bit misleading (though lovely).
