Description

When Haruna Nagashima was in junior high her life consisted of playing softball and reading comics. But now that she's going to high school, Haruna decides to put all of her energy towards getting a boyfriend and having the high school romance of a lifetime. To help in her quest, she enlists cute upperclassman Yoh Komiyama to coach her as she eschews her tomboy tendencies and turns herself into the kind of girl who can catch a guy. One of the FUNNIEST manga ive ever seen! I definitely recommended this for people who enjoy comical mangas like I do! Heh. Character design was the first reason i got attracted to this manga. Then after reading its summary, i decided that i should give it a try. And so, way more than i thought and imagined, I was laughing out loud on every chapter i read. THERE'S NO DULL MOMENT in this manga i tell you.

Love Progress. I like how yoh and haruna's love progresses. How haruna strives hard to be the perfect girlfriend for yoh and how yoh find this a very cute thing on haruna's side.

Haruna, in this story, might be a bit dumb for being a dense person but hey it really makes you like her more and more. On the other had, Yoh, being the cool guy in here, only shows how he cares about haruna especially those times when haruna was still looking for the right boyfriend for her. he can be possive too! ohhhh LOL. so yea nothing much to talk about this manga cuz if i talk more i might slip out some good spoilers...

10/10 for this since i didnt find any flaws on it. I just laugh and laugh and laugh..LOL.

Have enjoyed reading Vol 1 - 5 and just got my hand on Vol 6 & 7 (Chinese version) ..It's funny and brighten my day especially Haruna over react in most of the situations. Look forward to more releases...

If you read this really fast like 4 to 5 volumes within 1 to 2 hours and you like straight-forward manga, then this title might be for you.

Otherwise, it's a bit "empty" and rather predictable.

Furthermore, Yoh is so quiet, it's almost like he's a mute and Haruna spends so much time talking, it gets a tad annoying. In reality, such couples do exist but on paper, do you really want to read about this? Thus, this somehow gives me the feeling that Haruna is more of a person who loves the sound of her own voice than someone who truly enjoys entertaining the others around her or even a person who values the company of others. In the end, although bits and pieces of her characters were interesting like her upbeat personality and determination to persevere, she came out as a little flat and one-dimensional because of Yoh's behaviour towards her and how too much of the conversation centered around her.

Furthermore it was a bit entertaining to read about Yoh detecting Haruna's thoughts but it got old very fast because the mangaka kept reusing that part of his character. And then, about the other characters: they were too straight-forward also. It's fine if one to two characters are blunt and straight-forward but almost the entire cast is, which deprives the manga of character interaction when the plot itself is so straight-forward.

Lastly, the pages are filled with quite a bit of "near-empty" space and scenes which drag for too many pages.

Anyways, if I wanted to read or experience a one-sided monologue, then I'd have written up my script or started talking to myself everyday.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I never read this type of storyline before. It's a first. It's great. Wonderful! I think it's really sweet and funny. There's lots of twists into it. If you like romance you would like this. I recommend this alot. It's a MUST read. lol. But sadly it's liscenced so go get at the store! [there are still some scanlations out there up to chapter 25] And the artwork. Its great too. the WHOLE manga is just great. haha.

so cute.. very likable characters. Huruna is a nut.. so adorable lol
a manga that is very enjoyable, the art is very nice and the quality of the scanlation is very good too

this has everything i want in a shoujo manga, funny but real and not overly melodramatic. great art and i will buy it licensed.

i luv how the story progresses and the new side characters r hysterical XD
