This is the best manhwa I have read after Kill the Villainess.
The novel was amazing and the manhwa is even better. 👌 Recommended 100%

The bar has to be on the floor for this series to pass it. Glaring lack of logic, embarrassingly one-note FL, overly convenient plot line... The humor falls flat. The romance is underwhelming and not convincing. The art is par for the course with nothing special to it.

Honestly I love this manhwa, I know this is your typical reincarnation/transmigration story but I love the FL and ML here.

The FL is usually the type of character that I hate, I dislike a character who’s so inlove she forgets about herself, but in this case, I find her adorable and brave. Seriously, best girl. And yeah, unfortunately she’s so smart because: she already read the novel AND lived the story but later died so yeah it’s her third life, I expect her to be wise. I also like the fact that at first she loves the OGFL but after knowing their betrayal to the current ML, she’s so set on getting revenge to the OG couples.

The ML, FINALLY WE HAVE AN ML THAT HAS LEGIT TRAGIC / EMOTIONAL ISSUES. I mean, most of the MLs I know has some tragic back story but surprise, they are still perfect! So I love that even though I want to see more of ML, this season 1 really gave him the healing arc, he didn’t immediately fell in love with FL. It’s a slow romance but I’m quite entertained on how they narrate it. I enjoy FLs tactics on destroying the OG couples. I seriously love this manhwa, FL and ML both deserve the best of all.


Also, yes ML was emotionally, mentally weak here but I think this is one of the most realistic reaction I’ve ever seen, I’ve been put into a similar situation as the ML. So I think his reaction is normal, let’s wait for him to heal and see how strong he is.

Like, Hestia woke up the second time and chose violence. I mean, this girl, daaaaaamn.

Sometimes I forget and think she's gone waaaay overboard. No man, real or fake, is worth all that effort. Then again, I try to seriously ask myself this if it were my favorite; would I be able to sit back, knowing my favorite is suffering?

*Coughs* Actually, yes, I can. I'll try to intervene if it got as bad as it did with White Haired Hottie there but I wouldn't try to "take revenge" the way Hestia is doing. It's no one's fault that he's suicidally depressed. It really, REALLY isn't. No matter what Hestia thinks... then again I've only read to ch.17, and other than being clueless, insensitive and spoiled - which aren't crimes - to WHH's feelings FL hasn't done anything to be subjected to everything Hestia does to her.

I'd instead try to find ways that'll help WHH continue living with some semblance of normalcy and forget about the original FL. To continue getting in the way of the OG FL and ML's life is...not worth it, if I was in Hestia's shoes. I think going on to have a happy fulfilled life is enough if an amazing revenge because it'll rub it in the FL and ML's faces.Mwuahahahahaaaa.

*The main plot of the story*

The main character (Hestia) is a big fangirl of the second male lead (sexy Kaelus) of a story. Her desire is to completely trash the original female lead and male lead who threw away her beloved second male lead Kaelus.

After being thrown away, Kaelus fell into deep depression. Hestia's self-proclaimed duty and reason for living is to nurse her sexy baby Kaelus's broken heart back to full health.

Hestia is very warm and loving towards Kaelus, and extremely vindictive and cunning towards the characters who threw Kaelus away. Hestia is a girl who is constantly working on ensnaring and wrecking the main couple with her spiteful stratagems. The girl is a spite cake with a cherry on top. Delicious.

I feel a good feature of the story is how it feels realistic. The story isn't disgustingly flashy like some rofan (romance fantasy) because it takes itself seriously. Hestia makes methodical progress and rational moves all within reason to get what she wants.

There are actually two subplots/themes that are a bit subtle because they are not very emphasized, but once you know they exist it's obvious.

(1) The story pokes at the weakness of passionate romance. Once feelings cool down, such relationships that relied on strong momentary feelings may become fickle. Relationships that involve compatibility, stability, level-headness, and trust are more likely to flourish over time, especially with effort. To be capable of strong love is a good thing, although not everything may work out. Kaelus is confronted with Hestia's love, which mirrored his own for the OGFL and comes as a slow epiphany to him.

(2) Psychoanalysis time! Fight! Lessssssssss Goooooooo! The second subplot is about how the main characters, Kaelus and Hestia, deal with mental illness. They are healed by mutually supporting each other (this is romance genre of course).

Everybody will know the second male lead Kaelus is depressed to the point of suicide from the very beginning of the story. His depression is actually very realistic because I know somebody who was actually depressed and acted the exact same way (The person barely could function and kept doing random, seemingly meaningless hobbies as if soul-searching. They just didn't have a butler.).

However, Hestia actually suffers from transmigration mental illness, which no story I've read has done a good job of addressing until now. Yeah, Hestia got transmigrated and she has an identity crisis. Also, she is trying to figure out the reason why she is even alive. She tries not to think about it throughout the story. Clearly, she is mentally disturbed and one may think she has a loose screw (she does have a loose screw) because she partakes in escapist behaviour. She has problems accepting her reality as reality and decides to simp for Kaelus because it's her coping mechanism to prevent a mental breakdown (She actually suffered a mental breakdown and died at the very start of the story. Just think about it. All her actions are escapism.).

The lead's mind be so cringe sometimes it hurts. On another note, the plot is nothing new for this genre. The romance is somewhat slow. And, story is minimally funny.

The main focus is the hypocritical nature of high moral ground characters in romance stories. We also see over the top reactions relating to the lead's fandom. Most importantly, all problems can be solved by knowing how the original plotline ends.
