Started good, now mediocre ch1-52

Theres alot to like about this series but unfortunantly the last 2 arcs have really soured the experience and it doesn't look to be getting better. The wheel spinnign is real and when your dealing with short chapters this makes it more frustrating.

Character, world and Story have all been from good to ok for the whole series. Like mentioned in a comment below though I feel like abilities most of the time just become forgotten once their plot relevence is used up.

I'll keep reading for now but yeah 5/10 at it's current point.

An easy read

The chapters are very short, the perfect amount of humor and with no cliffhangers. I guess this will also make the wait harder (I just caught up), but the story not relying on tropes to makes it stand out amongst the tons of isekais. Another thing that I liked is how after the story is set there is an equilibrium in male and female characters.

Though his relation with the female knight is a bit forced at the start it develops more or less well treating adult themes like divorce or how the american hero's family felt, but the restraints of it being a shounen can be felt in some parts the story's premise and consistency is enough to not drop it. The author really manages to make the MCs ease the rest of the cast, instead of giving us a roller coaster of emotions each capter each characters feeling are separate (for example everyone is tense prepating for they summon one of the MCs from Japan appears with a playstation or how the American hero's mother jokes about him missing their sandwiches more than his family after she's told he can't go back).

The strangeness at the start probably comes from how I don't understand Asian POV (of distancing themselves with the "san" and at the same time demanding everyone to be equal) combined with short chapters, but this is more or less solved as the story progresses.

Misaligned Story Pace and Premise Creates an Unsatisfying Experience

The authors have committed themselves to telling certain story beats at a set pace. Thus, as the MC continuously gains new abilities, the authors have an ever-decreasing amount of time to explore these abilities; leaving readers to wonder, "What happened to most of the MC's abilities?" It's a good example of how being inflexible with story pacing doesn't give necessary room for characters and story to breath. New abilities are unallowed to be fully explored by the MC, or those around him, and this leads to a host of boring scenarios, where the MC's abilities become superficial components to the rest of the work. In the end, a so-so popcorn manga and not much else.
