I vehemently disagree with below, its just mediocre so far that lines up with every other abused MC storyline like clockwork if albiet here at a slower pace. I'm unsure if thats a boon or bust though yet we'll have to see how it pans out.

Some of the character writing has been pretty naff though, like the animal maids somehow not knowing why the ML was crying even though they say multiple times they've had to "clean up" many people the lord has collected since being employed. Like what no other probably abused/slaved/ignored/abandoned person was even collected before the ML? I call bullpoppy.
