As some one whose favorite form of manga is oneshots, I must admit that I've read several hundred of them and most are mediocre. This one however, has a special charm that is very very rare in oneshots. You really care about the characters and I must disagree with some of the other posters- I think the page count was perfect and Sumomo makes brilliant use of each page to tell a complete, and unforgettable story. The actions of the characters right down to their body language are very realistic and well drawn, although, I will say that I think the characters should have been a little older. It says they are 13, but I think it would make more sense if they were around 16 or so.
It was great

Definitely. It was simple, touching, and sweet.
Like what Conquestor said, it could do with an additional page or two.. 20 is too much and could ruin the story.
However, I didn't like how they keep on repeatedly show the scene of kicking the cans..
Worth the read. Thumbs up.

The story should have been a bit longer to sympathize with the couple but anyway, it was a beautiful, sad and touching story. Plus, the art is excellent as always. Sahara Mizu is a great mangaka beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Yumeka Sumomo/Sahara Mizu is a master in making ones heart flinch.
Another beautiful, bittersweet story... I'm used to another type of ending, but this was good as well. (I won't spoil).
Art- great as ever. This is one of the best things about this mangaka. Her art and style remain the same, the amazing, capturing beauty.
I do agree this could use an additional page or two, but not 20.

While this oneshot was pretty cute, it seemed VERY rushed... Another 20~ pages would have been perfect for it.
