Fifteen-year-old Ko Young-hee buries herself in books, believing human relationships are a disaster. The words 'family' and 'lovers' only make her shudder.
One day, Kim Kang-ah, a girl from the same class, appears and confesses her feelings to Young-hee, who is already full of worries and thoughts. To make matters worse, a twist of fate forces them to live together in the same house. Young-hee feels as though she has been dropped into the middle of a bizarre and chaotic world.
She resents everyone—her mom, her dad, Kang-ah, the uncle, the kids at school, and everyone else on Earth—and wonders if they ever stop to think. In the throes of adolescence, she faces the biggest crisis of her life. With a long, sullen face, she closes her book and runs out into the real world.
What answer will she find at the end of her long, winding thoughts?
