Good ride but awful epilogue

Like, overall it is a nice read. A bit too much drama in my opinion and could have explored the dynamic between the 3 of them more. Personally i would have liked to see their relationship over the years and not end with a huge timeskip of 10 years.
Asou was the best character by far while the guy was meh. and Raina was boorish since she doesnt change much from the beginning.
Maybe if it had a few more volumes it would have been fine but vol 10 feels so out of place.
Still it is an interesting plot and worth a read.

rushed ending

So i finished Sakuranbo Syndrome. The series is about a man who is in a relationship with a women but must kiss this women once a day otherwise this women will grow younger and younger till she ceases to exist. I liked the love triangle it ensued. It was good, dramatic and entertaining. I enjoyed the author's art and erotic scenes that came with it. I also liked how the MC who was originally somewhat spineless actually did become more upfront and aggressive later in the manga. The romantic tension when all 3 were next to each other was easily the best part of the series. Constant anxiety as well as trying to be understanding while simultaneously realizing how dark your jealousy can go. I found the drama outside the love triangle to be very weak though. It also felt rushed near the end. The author also tried to make every villain sympathetic but it didn't work. Overall i enjoyed it. however the ending... Like im surprised thats the route it went.

7/10. A great read for people who actually enjoy well done drama.

I think this is a great manga i liked the story and unlike the other work of author(kono s wo mi yo) which has a heartbreaking ending but this had a rushed but a good ending yes it was rushed because they didnt show the wedding scene or what was rena doing in canada till 10 years but overall i am satisfied becoz all 3 of them are finally living happily together living with each other

The ending is a bit rushed to me, I was happy with the epilogue but the last conflict wasn't wrapped up well and a solution to the main plot was conveniently found in just 4 panels. But it did end beautifully, however I am very conflicted with it. On the one hand I am glad the heroine grew up and was able to get on her own feet, possibly having a new romance, but the other I felt the threesome was very genuine and while glad they have a reunion it kinda became parents and child. There were also a few unnecessary conflicts imo.

But anyway it's a heartwrencher this one, definitely a good read.

No it's Not a Rushed Ending... a Good Romance by the Way!

The user below me said the ending was rushed, I don't agree... The story just didn't had more to offer and the author really did a good job coming up with the story till the end and he done this without dragging which nowadays it's rare. And why do a last arc of the size it was if the ending was going to be rushed? The author didn't change magazine cause he was ending the story.

A person might think the ending was rushed cause usually the pattern is pretty much the same,

the last panel must be the most impact-full. That's why you have characters going to travel in the beginning of the last chapter and returning after a time-skip in the last panel of said chapter. It's just that it's a thing they do to sell more, to let the readers wondering what's next, in fact I prefer definite endings unlike these but we have to make do with what we get.

Regarding the manga, it was really good. If you are tired of those "kids" romances, this is a must. It involves the working society, characters actually make sense and their relationships are well thought out, there's some convenient things happening here and there but you can see past it without problem.

There's sex in it, but I assure you it really must be in it, it's not those ecchi, smut ones it's made naturally in here without exaggerating. It's just this is Seinen and adults... well have sex so better deal with it whoever is a puritan.

Rushed ending.

Story's great. Ending was rushed -- not due to the author's plans, rather as others have noted the magazine stopped being published. I still recommend this story to anyone who likes a good romance drama.

Good manga overall

Ending needed more because it was kinda vague, but from what I heard the magazine it was featured in was shutdown so the author decided to wrap it up instead of finding a new magazine.

My interpretation of the ending:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
When she comes back at the end, she's going to be with them in a polygamous relationship because it was hinting at that heavily especially since they had the threesome. Asou became accepting of Rena being part of her and Aizawa's relationship and came to love her.

I'm keeping the high rating because the romance and dialogue was very sophisticated, how all the characters conveyed their feelings and how the story always had a interesting element.
But..

the end... what a way to ruin something! BOO!! is what I said.. geez. Terrible. Abrupt and stupid! After all that build up and THE ENTIRE THEME! is just.. meh. I mean come on! "I'm leaving" "ok that's fine" was what he said but even worse than that. He had no explanation. And she comes back but after 10 years!!! I thought the title of this story was perfect and cute and tasteful but the ending ruined that completely because I don't know what happened with Rena after that. Basically the theme was cast aside. Oh and the sex was for the most part unromantic and almost trying to be comedic which I'm not really into. But there were other elements I loved about the story and that's why I gave it a high rating to begin with.

Rushed ending because magazine was cancelled

The ending is abrupt, but it wasn't really the author's fault: the magazine this was in got cancelled and it was too close to his planned ending to get picked up by another magazine. So he just had to wrap it up in the time he had left.

I really, really enjoyed the series but the ending chap 94-95 really?! The author could have done at least 5-10 more chapters and ended it well. Now I am just left with a sour taste in my mouth... I so wanted to love this 100% of the way but I feel this series has failed me! I've read all of the authors other works and this one ended so poorly Grrrr! I wont give any spoilers. /sigh (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)
