The story takes place in a small town near the sea in Italy. Marina lives there with her father, a very silent man, her second wife and her daughter. Marina has the same nightmare everynight, seeing her Mum saving her from drowning. She knows nothing of her except she died to save her life, and her father is not willing to tell her more about her mum. One day, she encounters a French young man who's name is José.

This story is freely based on one Leonardo Valenti's story.
