Description
Official English Translation

Half-beasts and humans both live together in this world, but species don't usually mix romantically...

Iori is a social worker who helps half-beasts live with humans. He's got a good heart, but he's scared of love. One day he meets the wolf writer, Tsuneaki Gora, in order to introduce him to the orphan wolf boy, Riku. Iori immediately feels something for the wild and hot Tsuneaki, and Tsuneaki seems to like him, too... or, at least his scent, anyway...!!
A heartwarming love story about a shy child wolf and two cute guys who are awkward in love.

A second volume would have helped

Very interesting premises, but background story is missing, we hinted that
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
they knew each other from youth, hence they became fated pair
but that's not developed enough.
The universe is very interesting, too so I'd love to read more.

Cute but that's it

I feel like the author brought up some interesting dynamics but never really explored it. Mostly, they played it way too safe with the half beasts. They look like humans in cosplay. And it doesn't help that they can just put away the ears and tail and blend into society anytime they feel like it. Although it doesn't supprise me that humans discriminate against half-beasts (humans don't need much of a reason to hate each other in real life afterall), there wasn't enough of a discernable difference between humans and half-beasts, so I can't even pretend to understand why the two love interests were angsty about starting a relationship. When I read "No way would he be interested in a half-beast/human." I thought, "Why the f--k not?"

There were severel hints throughout the story - different aggression levels, estrus periods, diet, mating habits, life span, senses, instincts - but it's not expounded upon. Although it would lose cutness points, I think that the story would've been better if the auhtor dropped the Riku plot and just focused on a relationship between different species for vol 1, and then the pressures beast children face in another volume. Rigbt now, it feels like a wasted good presmise. Still cute though.

Nothing too special about the story or the characters, but at least they're cute and amiable. It's a relatively simple and easy-to-read manga that doesn't have any remarkable events but you will still feel a little happy reading it. A bit cheesy but also fluffy - you know the kind I'm talking about. The art is quite good too.

Too short

This manga was really sweet but I had to knock it down to a 7 because story-wise it felt like it was just beginning when I got to the end.

There were some flashbacks to the past that were never elaborated on, the characters' backgrounds were touched on but not explored fully, and the relationship had barely started by the time I got to the last page, wanting to see more of how it developed.

It really is a cute romance involving an orphaned kid who needs a home, but it could have done with at least one more volume. This manga introduced a new world wherein half human beasts co-exist with humans, but we never get to explore the world because there's only one volume!!
