The story's fine. Whatever. I'm not here to talk about that. I want to talk about the artist's absolutely INSANE taste in men's fashion. Let me give you an example. In one early scene, the youngest male lead is wearing all of the following things AT THE SAME TIME:
-A black ribbon choker necklace with a Victorian cameo broach on it
-A frilly lace cravat
-An utterly bananas black puff sleeve embroidered blouse with peaked shoulders
-A DOUBLE-BREASTED, ARGYLE SWEATER VEST. No. Really.
-A bedazzled prom corsage
-Pleated khaki dad shorts
-A fob chain
-Riding boots with VISIBLE SOCK GARTERS. With shorts.

You can't even make this up. It's just one example. Every male character has random gift-wrap bows sprouting out of the weirdest spots on their bodies. Bodies which, incidentally, have definitely been skipping leg day - just these suuuper broad shoulders and puffed-out rooster chests balanced precariously on top of hips thinner than the dudes' heads and wackadoo toothpick legs.

The female characters are more par for the course, but they will still manage to combine Scarlet O'Hara, a Medici pope, Ren-Faire porno underwear as outerwear, Polly Flinders, and a deadly and gruesome accident at the Swarovski factory into a single look.

I hope to God someone else is enjoying this as much as I am. It is just the most entertaining, coked-out, fashion-history-in-a-blender extravaganza, and I am enthralled by the awfulness.

Because that would make the story somewhat interesting and we don't want that.

Have you ever known a person with resting Woe-Is-Me Face who will never ask for anything or tell you to your face when something isn't to their preference but then complain about it afterwards like you were supposed to mindread? Well, they isekaid into this manhwa's FL.

HOLY HELL WHY DID I READ SO MANY CHAPTERS ABOUT HER BEDROOM. Just sleep in the big bed or make an official request to get a smaller room instead of sleeping in the side chamber(extra room for your maids to clean btw, let's not pretend like you're doing anyone a favour here).

We get an endless barrage of pity porn backstory about her getting used by generic 2D blondie Evil Mc Evilface Villainess and her posse of mindslaves that I think were intended to make the readership form a connection with the FL but heavens is she boring. And now in the current timeline everything is handed to her on a silver platter carried by the loyal band of himbo family members while she contemplates her own misery.

She was boring in Timeline 1. and now in Timeline 2 she is just abused and boring. And I feel nothing.

This brings me to the art, because see... technically that is some really pretty art. It's just... devoid of meaning is the best way to put it. Like looking at AI Art. Like the artist just put a bunch of pretty stock art together and sometimes it just feels...off as if the artist is just doing what they're told but hasn't read the story. The FL look so young and the ML who is supposedly barely older than her like an adult. A character is sending out messages via crows and we get some generic pigeons painted in black and other stuff like that. It's... unsettling and disjointed.

One of the early 'villains' gets at excuse of being affected by spirits.

So that's basically mind control/ brainwashing that invalidates their crimes and any suffering caused from them and any other source, since the 'spirit' excuse can be used for everything.

What a way to destroy any credibility for the story, annoying 'contracted creature' doesn't help.

Sienna refuses to rub two braincells together to figure it out when given a second chance. Her extreme passiveness is incredibly irritating. It's not like I don't understand what systemic abuse does to a person but yeesh. It's her second life! Everything she learned from her 1st one goes to waste because she doesn't utilize any of that knowledge in a way that'll save herself. She just lets things happen to her, getting dragged from one "plot" point to the next instead of actively going out and securing her own future.

Then again I'm mostly here to see the pretty dresses and anticipate Blonde Villainess's entrance into the scene.
