Description

Army veteran's last go at the obstacle course turns lethal after a simple fall. A goddess presents an opportunity at new life as a hero! the pacing is really really bad

Starts good, with a small group of 3 characters, established villains and intersting powers, then with season 2 it expands the cast to about 10 and this dilutes the story and kinda ruins it.
You spend many many chapters without ever seeing the Mc, wasting time on the many flat side characters.
As of chapter 122 every villain introduced is

still alive making them look like annoying cockroaches instead of actual threats

The pacing is so bad that even reading 122 chapters at once felt really slow and the MC's progress seems non existent since as of now he hasn't

really beaten/ killed/ permanently removed a single villain , it's just going in circles and collecting comrades like pokemon, only every pokemon dilutes the story even more until it becomes unintersting slop.It's like Dressrosa the manhwa.

The art is good in action scenes specifically, the comedy just isn't funny and the story would be better without it.
Better than most manhwa out there, but sadly, still mid.

It's a comedy but it's just not funny. The entire thing is a joke and nothing is taken seriously. It could have been cool if it was serious, but the "gags" take it out for me. Plus characters are pretty much flat. That's what you get when everything is a joke.

Rarely do I see a series pick up so hard after a slow and comedic start, especially with the art style. The mc, Park Byung-Jang is reincarnated into another world after dying due to an accident in the military. This is one of those stories where the main character is ambiguous regarding his morals (he is also portrayed as the demon in the oracle).

This series is a stand-out when it comes to fighting scenes whether it's the choreography, paneling, or art style. Major conflicts are presented in a way that is not only meaningful but also refreshing despite what it may lead you to assume at first. After all, the characters have extremely unique powers, such as "mentos" or even "saving and exporting skills". The sometimes realistic shots and gag scenes also add to the experience without taking you out of it.

The main character in this series can be somewhat generic, but he is still great overall and extremely self-aware. Side characters in the story have extremely unique powers, personalities, and backgrounds. The group that our mc stays with on the latter half of the story is extremely enjoyable and the author makes it so that you will genuinely care about some of them. Only problem I see is that the author completely forgets about some of the characters that were introduced earlier when the main conflict starts happening.

Overall, it is an extremely enjoyable and satisfying read.

The story is a nice twist on the common reincarnation trope. There's quite a bit of humour in there as well. I just couldn't get used to the art.

A weird one, it starts of with the MC dying and summoned by the goddess, classic stuff right? Well he goes on a tangent and the new Hero might be a hero or a villain. It's all done in a very comedic way and the art-style supports this, and then it goes on the other direction again and you don't know if the MC is a poor guy or a piece of sh*t. Then when you are making your mind it flips again and mayhem ensues... I don't want to spoil it for you since it all happens in a few chapters. I'll say thou that this is interesting, at least at the start. It's heavy on the comedy but it doesn't feel disruptive to the story and it's quite good.
The chars, the MC is... well a guy past his limit, I still can't tell what his nature is. The goddess... the other cigarette named person... I really can't say anything without spoiling the story, I'll just say that no one is what he seems at first glance. Go and read the first 10ch and make your own judgement.
Good pace, funny dialogues and an art that is simple at times and very detailed at others.
I really don't know where this is going to go, but for now it has me hooked. An anomaly.

Edit: As it often happens, it starts to loose it's shininess, what pulls it apart from other action stories, after a while, it's still funny and interesting with many weird chars and an interesting overarching story. 8 > 7.5
