There were some moments where the MC is an absolute dumbass, for sure, quite a lot of them. Maybe even a bit verbally abusive to female lead. And the random uncensored tits in like, 3% of the chapters really seems hugely out of place, story would be better off without those shots. And yet I actually ended up kind of enjoying the story, it almost had a sort of wholesome feel at the end. Idk, I kinda liked it.

Seriously, this man is the absolute scum of manhwa and mangadom. Constantly starting new works without ever finishing any of his previous ones. MCs are always angsty mentally weak boys while all the female love interests always get abused in some shape or form. Absolute lose lose situation. AVOID HIS WORKS LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I created my account just to warn people not to read this.

This manhwa has been sitting on the backburner for a long time before I finally read everything else that looked interesting. I enjoy my romcoms with ridiculous premises, I also enjoy melodrama, but this just looked so... desperate? So I went into this manhwa with VERY low expectations.

The premise of "I am engaged to a person way older than me and they have a secret," was kinda interesting for the first like 5 or 6 chapters. However, things quickly went downhill. The story starts pretty averagely, but I started to get doubts when 3 chapters in they drop uncensored tits out of nowhere. The MC sees his fiancee in a towel and imagines her offering her body to him. It basically felt like a shallow attempt to catch the reader's attention. That is the problem. It's shallow. The story is all melodrama and no substance.

But the main problem with this manhwa is its characters. The MC is the biggest entitled beta fucking asswipe. He starts out as the only decent character in the series, but the dad's breeze personality fucked his kid over. Made him an entitled brat who blows a gasket whenever something doesn't happen the way he thinks it should. The MC treats the Fiancee like crap but expects her to cater to his every beck and call.

Chapter 45-46. The MC brings the Fiancee and a girl who likes him on a date and is COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS to how either girl feels. He tries and to pawn off the Fiancee to a guy she's meeting for the first time, KNOWING that she has social-phobia. She understandably gets upset and doesn't cook him dinner that night. The MC gets upset and storms into her room to see her reading a book. He then has the gall to get pissed off about how she's "acting normally for once and not playing videogames", rips the book out of her hands and demands that she fix him a proper dinner. She, for the first time in the story, talks back to him like an adult and calls him out for the shit he's done. The MC processes LITERALLY 0% of what she says and is all confused and distraught that she isn't respecting his authoritah!

What finally broke the camel's back for me was when the MC becomes a full-on hypocrite. He goes on dates with his high school "friend" (that he knows has feelings for him) while he has a fiancee, and tells his "fiancee" that she can't go eat dinner with her boss (that has feelings for her) cuz she has a fiancee (him). Like, are you fucking serious?

Experiment in brainlessness

This work is very strange. This seems like a cynical experiment by this writer who used to write serious and interesting drama. In contrast to his previous stories, this one has a seriously dumbed down female protagonist whose characterization make no sense. He's probably trying out this type of story to see if brainless females make more money or something. But it's a skip for me.

Worst protagonist ever

This is the first time I ever rated something below a 5, the main mc treats the main female lead badly, is clueless about how she feels, and just acts very stupidly. (read chapter 45-6)

He gets mad over the dinner she made and how she is reading a book instead of playing video games like she normally does, and when she calls him out for like the first time about the stuff he does, he gives the dumbest face like if he found out he got ntr (cheated on) after realizing 4 kids of his don't even look like him at all and says, "What the heck is going on here."
