Description
In a town with no baseball team, young Bungo spends his days throwing the ball he received as a gift against a wall until Yukio Noda, Japan’s representative youth baseball player, appears before him and an unexpected showdown ensues! It's okay, but too much drama

Far too much drama and inner dialogue. It's one of those sports manga that has to constantly give you everyone's sob backstory, especially in the middle of a match, so that it drags on endlessly. Trying to read something like this just makes me miss Adachi's style. This manga feels more like a shounen battle manga than a baseball manga. Literally, one person's at-bat will often take at least an entire chapter because every character has to have an essay's worth of inner dialogue.

Terrible pacing, easily the worst of any baseball manga. It makes me laugh how much they hype the MC up but the MC still doesn't become the ace until much, much later in the manga. Just not worth the time unless you're mainly here for the side characters.
