Setona Mizushiro's older art isn't usually to my liking, to be honest... but I find her stories unusual enough that it often makes up for the weird art. That said, this manga totally does nothing for me. I suppose it was interesting enough that I don't regret having read it, but it's not something I would ever recommend.

None of the characters were really likable. The plot wasn't anything likable, either. Since all of the characters were annoying at best, I really didn't care what was happening to/with them. It's a good thing I didn't care much, mind you, because it doesn't seem like anything good ever happened to these three.

Really, this manga is just an emo-fest. Emo characters, emo pasts, emo situation, emo everything. I didn't care for it at all, really.

ok.. i think i have enjoyed feeling depressed while reading this because i kindda felt sorry for Tohru.. i mean im not that sorry for Aoi because she got over the raping stuff so easily... i mean she was getting over it by thinking herself as a doll and that.. and also i didnt get it, why did she fell for Itsuki that easily?? i mean she's a rape victim right? why the sudden development? is it because Itsuki does it better than the Master? because he's more good looking? anyways.. whatever!!

the lack of background is kindda disturbing to me..
the distorted mouth also disturbs me..
but the overall art.. even though it does disturb me doesnt trun me off..

overall.. this one is not as dark and psychological as i was expecting it to be.. but what made it nice was teh ending!! it was happy!!!!~

bad art so-so story

one of the very few stories that i really didn't like because of the art, it seemed distorted and the plot was kinda confusing, liked the ending though

not very recommended, sorry 🙁

edit: oh btw, i fotgot to mention that i only picked it up because i confused it with Shoujo Ningyo

This story wasn't bad actually. At first I picked it because I noticed it on the ShoujoMagic site, but I started liking this. It's a little mature, and it's prolly not for anyone who's easily freaked out, but I found it to be pretty...interesting.
I can't say anymore without giving away spoilers, so I'll leave it at that.

Oh, yes, the artist managed to offer us a thought-provoking, emotionally strong work, in a relatively sober way (brownie points for this): I mean, 'smut' applies to the situation itself, but the way it's visually dealt with is -as I've said- sober; it's a mean to an end. The main focus is about finding your own worth and path and 'the light at the end of the tunnel', as twisted and painful as this path can get.
Art is good, althoug some of the chins looks underdeveloped in profile views (but in most recent works they look fine). A fulfilling reading, with the right length and pace: short enough not to be too heavy, long enough to leave an impression and to show a decent amount of the characters'personality and evolution . Really well done claps

Don't miss the side story, it's actually an important insight about one of the main characters
