Boys on the Run

This is so bad, you can't stop reading it. By bad, I don't mean that story is bad, but the things that main character goes through is so bad. It actually makes me outraged at some points. In some sense, I can't even say he went through them. Most of the time, he was a part of the cause for his troubles thanks to his loser personality. Just when you think he will finally start redeeming himself, he gets himself into a worse hole. I can't imagine how this is going to end, but I don't think it can end well. I will give it points for making it a compelling read though.

man oh man, i thought this is a sport martial art manga, until i need to go through 30+ deppressing chapters until the MC start boxing.
i'm an introvert but i can say this MC is suckass.

i'll still reccomend this to read though because : (from 87 chaps)

top notch art
gradually better on story
good box reference
know that you're not the most bad luck person in the earth LOL

still, about the main girl:

the girl is very logical, normally, any girl wants to has bf that's looks cool, rich, or/and strong.
the aftereffect is another story. i'll slap that bitch when knew she still love the aoyama after pregnant and dumped

This is my first comment even if i read manga for much time now. I wanna say something about that brunette woman protagonist

This manga express the worst situation you can get. Anyway is only my opinion
The main guy is a loser who he can't f .. express himself. He is a weirdo from my standards. Anyway i am only on the chapter 31 .. and maybe this manga will change.

chapter 49 confirmed it ! she is a damn slut.... but this is the best chapter so far , and yes weird in manny ways but very cool moment

If you want a depressing story where it's quench your heart and then feels like destroying your room, try this. I almost broke my keyboard.

But it's good. It made you can hate the character like it's so real in your life. Ha.

I had this at 9, but just changed it to 10. Its getting more and more interesting. I like the balance between the moods in the story and cant wait to read more. The style is really original in my opinion.

lol

but kengo is really good. i like i am a hero more than this, but it's like comparing something i like, like donuts, to something i like a lot, like bacon. they're both good, and if you think about it, sometimes one is better than the other.

but this guy lets himself get into so many shitty situations it's really gut wrenching. it's a good story though, and kengo's drawing style is pretty endearing somehow. i like the way he draws mouths all big.

he's really talented with contour, and there's a lot of detail in his artwork. definitely not a waste of time but really makes your feelings wrench, and makes you kinda let out a crooked laugh at how terrible this guy is. especially if you're a dude. i'd be lying if it didn't flash me back to when i pulled all the wrong moves when i was super socially retarded too.

a story for the loser in all of us

I mean, wow. The main character starts out so lame that every masculine bone in my body is screaming for him to win. It goes to the very root of what what makes a man want to be something more than what they are. I mean, for someone who has a great life there's not much there, but even though most of us have ever sunk as low as our hero, most of us have been punked down pretty hard at some point in our lives. Some more than others. And this is quite possibly as much of an underdog as you can get. All I can do is keep reading and hope that the hero can rise from his state of pure mediocrity, find his pride (which he has already begun to do), and kick some ass.

I gotta say, this picture of a losers life is crushing me inside.

Can't say Im too sympathetic with the main character, but geez, what the crap. Im hoping this goes the 'nerdy guy buffs up' route, because this is seriously depressing... the guy doesn't even have a single friend!

I do have to say its keeping me coming back to see what happens next though.

Okay, mixed feelings about this. Description: "about how and why a guy goes from a worker at a dead-end job to becoming a boxer". So far, he hasn't even started boxing yet. The story up 'till now in is one of the most depressing manga plots I ever read. Not to say that it's well drawn and well written, it's still severely depressing. Probably things will start to work out soon, but if you start reading this now up to the latest translated chapters, be prepared to be wrecked. Not for the fainthearted out there (March 2012).

There is not enough chapters to rate this series yet. The two people below me know what they are talking about since they read the raws. Anyways, this manga has potential i guess and i hope some group picks this up.
