Iizuka is a non-drinking office worker who has a crush on Ogasawara, a girl who is famous in the office as a "cute heavy drinker." Wanting to drink with her, he tries a highball at a standing bar, but doesn't understand how it tastes. Then he meets Shio, a self-proclaimed "alcohol activist" and owner of a small restaurant. She teaches Iizuka about the wonders of alcohol and food.
