It was better then a lot of other longer yuri manga I read, it at least wasn't set in a fantasy world where men don't exists and everyone is a lesbian, it dealt with some backlash from the parents and showed them developing as people and getting closer and eventually becoming a real couple, but not much else (since it's so short).

Also that extra chapter set in high-school ... well I don't even know if that was supposed to be same MC's, I mean it looked like them, but in flashbacks with her mother we saw her grilling her for top grades, which to me indicates an intellectual carrier path, like law or business, not sports, that would be the opposite, so it felt out of place because of that.

I'm just a bit disappointed, the main story is too short for in-depth characterization and realistically showing a growth from "this is fake" to "my feelings are real for her" in Morimoto is quite lacking. The ex of the kouhai doesn't have much of a presence, but I suppose that beats actively creating misunderstandings between our main characters.

The one shot was a very neat sports related one-shot and although I'm not a big fan of very open endings, I think the characterization hit harder, even if the ideas weren't anything original.

Nothing much happens, but it's cute. It'll pass your time.
