Don't bother reading, you'll just get blue-balled at the end.

What a let down...

The story and the characters in this manga are interesting. Everything went fine and good until the last chapter. The ending was rushed. It left many questions unanswered. And it feels like NOTHING was solved.

Being fascinating is big point, but if I can add a bit note...

I can honestly write that this manga has a good planning. And I can agree that story progression is fascinating. One thing that I can't shake off is, the story telling felt broken; it lack continuity.
Maybe the author herself intend to introduce and play various plot elements in abrupt and hanging manner, making smoothness is not the word to describe experience to be felt from reading this. It can work, of course, like many suspense thriller series. But considering many things still get brushed off or left hanging, I feel that this manga hadn't been enjoyable. Not just yet. I'd say Kyouko no Ou will be remembered as fascinating or grandeur rather than pleasant.

Extremely promising

Being a fan of the mangaka's other work, Dragon Eye. I was pleased to see that the mangaka is working on a new series. This series is about Akatsuki Homare, a kind of character who prefers to remain in the background and have absolute control of people, he seems to get his rocks of manipulating them. As of now not much is known about our protagonist aside from him being the heir of a powerful family. The story so far reminds me of a blend of Death Note and Psyren. Imagine a Light Yagami with a higher moral fiber but just as bad ass, being transported unwillingly into an alternate reality wherein he has to combat monsters to stay alive. It could have turned into a mess, but as of chapter 3, the series is being executed very well.
