I agree that's it's refreshing to see a chubby character in a manga that isn't the butt of every joke and outcast by the school, although there are still a couple stereotypes. The small conflicts were believable and well written. The characters are cute and endearing.

I lol'd when Arai randomly groped Yone after pulling the other guys off him and scolding them for groping Yone without permission. He already had it baddddddddddddd

I love love Love the artwork, it really brings the best traits out of the characters, and like everyone else has pointed out it's just adorable. Not much to say about the story, since it revolves around a somewhat unique character type that hasn't been explored a lot before and so of course has a different plot from most. What I do like is how down to earth and realistic the story, which is unlikely to happen in real life, is portrayed. You feel a connection to it even if you don't relate to the characters, and that's something I gotta give props to.

So cute I teared up a little honestly. This is a great little diamond in the rough, I love to find stuff like this. However... to be critical the author does seem to use chubbiness as a gimmick, instead of actually exploring the topic seriously, which is disappointing but not unexpected.

First manga like this that i'm reading, and believe me i've read A LOT.
So cute and special but mostly, very relatable.
Loved the chubby uke, and I think this manga is a MUST on any reading lists because of the adorable approach to love and fatness and image issues.

Hmm, I seldom have the opportunity to read about fat characters in manga, especially ones who are treated favorably and have friends. It's not a popular type of character, especially in yaoi.

Yone-chan doesn't mind his weight and Arai-kun doesn't either. He even loves it and doesn't try to force Yone to change in any way. Their relationship is definitely adorable, especially how insecure both of them are.

I did find the characters to be way too sympathetic towards Yone-chan in general (not that it's a bad thing, but it's not very realistic). I wish there was some more background to them, but for a short series like that it's probably too much to expect.
The art wasn't bad, cute and a bit sketchy.

Overall, I'd say it's worth a read.

Wow. Do not be put off by the chubby

It takes a really special manga to pull off having an overweight main character especially in bl since all of it's about having gorgeous characters. Like the reviewer said before me this manga is adorable, innocent, and immensely sweet. I felt a little ashamed at times because before this manga I would have found an overweight main character to unappealing to read, but this just proves love is deeper then looks. I am impressed at the mangaka for choosing to write a story like this and writing it so well. Yone-chan, the chubby boy will win your heart.
