The process of uncovering what is going on is the best part of the manga. Later plot developments are more generic, but still somewhat worth reading.

This one is not really suited to adults. The developments are too clean, the investigation is never really hampered in anyway, and the protagonists are never really at a loss for what to do next. I know that part of that is handwaved with a retarded "He WANTS us to chase him!" cop out but it's just unsatisfying when there is virtually zero struggle. Not to mention the overall silliness and convenience of the entire plot.

I love when manga does this. You sit down planning to read one or two chapters, then you finish it all without even noticing. The plot does slow down a couple of times but it wasn't enough to get me to remember all the other stuff I should be doing instead. It's good, short and fast.Only down side is the occasional dumb cop cliche, which have always rubbed me the wrong way, but there's nothing in here that's worse than the norm.

I like this author's works a lot. This one has really good art and a suspensful mystery/horror plot. I love the fact that one of the main character's a pretty strong female. Anyway, the parasite story was written very well and it seriously creeped me out. I found the whole thing pretty realistic.

Both the storytelling, pacing and art is top-notch, that make story solid though the the plot is so-so. Don't expect so much about horror and mystery, just enjoy it as a story about an old detective and an young companion who solve a psychological case, you find out that this manga is pretty interesting.

this manga is definitely not the best depiction the horror genre.
there is a satisfactory amount of gore and the storyline is interesting enough, but i find all the attitudes of the victims and police far too predictable and frsutrating. It's too unrealistic for paramedics and policemen to act the way they do in the manga, after every incident.

At the beggining i expected a horror manga, but this actually gains points for being a good mystery. It didn't go overboard, it was kept simple, tidy and enjoyable. The art is also nice and fits the theme. The plot was solid as i expected and the characters were interesting.
While this doesn't get a 10 from me it gets a 9, because for what it is, it is very good, very good indeed.

I can really say that this one of those mangas that will make you say "eww". The characters were pretty good in this one with how the used their minds to solve the case and thee art was top notch as well.
People who are a fan of horror series with smart characters should really try this one.

I started reading this a few days ago and wow... just wow. I'm not usually a reader of horror/mystery manga but this is brilliant. It's intelligent, and suspenseful. What really attracts me is that the villain makes sense, he's just using really trashy methods.
Cannot wait for the end of this. If anyone can suggest anything similar you gotta let me know. I think I may have found a new Manga type addiction!

When i first read this i was expecting it to be some kind of horror manga, but as i read into its more of a detective story, and a good one at that, it reads really quick and the pacing is great, you finish one chapter and just jump to the next one. Can't wait until this is finished being scanned.
