Diana, the daughter of a baron, loses her fiancé to her sister-in-law, who was doted upon by her parents and raised to be selfish.
She becomes the laughing stock of society, and marries into the famously violent and cruel Count Wolfgang of the Frontier. But he is not all he is cracked up to be...?
This is a Cinderella story about a girl with an unhappy background who finds happiness!
2 Volumes (Complete)

And that is not a good thing, as this doesn't add anything to that very base concept. The story was flat, the characters were flat, the motives were flat. I hated the female lead and her lack of ANY kind of backbone. And the art was strange. .. specifically the female eyes (which reminded me of the button eyes from Coraline) and the Male Leads mouth that reminded me of the Joker.. super creepy.
Maybe if this book had been made in the 1990's this kind of boring, flat, cliched plot would have been acceptable, but for a book made in 2022.. the author needed to up their game, and failed.
What a load of senseless drivel... Seems like someone used all the plot points from My Happy Marriage, fed it to an AI engine, and told it to generate a story... Literally every plot point was already seen in MHM, there's absolutely nothing original about it, except that the setting is a fantasy world and not historical Japan... And it wouldn't even be that bad, if the execution of the plot here wasn't so flimsy, superficial & shoddy. It really makes me appreciate MHM more.
Additionally, the drawings seemed kind of... off. Eyes were drawn a bit creepy, the proportions are a bit off... I don't know, just seemed like something wasn't right, so the idea that this was all generated by AI seems even more probable to me.

Is this any better than My Happy Marriage ? because it sounds almost identical to it and it wasn't great, also with only 2 volumes I doubt it has much depth... I guess I'll wait for some reviews to show up.
