A girl with a fascination for Shot Put, and a boy with a fascination for the girl.
Oomiya-kun is often late for class so as a punishment, he is forced to join the Track and Field Club. However, that's where he discovers Nazuna Yuizaki, the girl he has a crush on, training seriously with Shot Put. Can he use this opportunity to get her to finally notice him?
5 Volumes (Complete)

A sub-mediocre sports manga that is not worth the time to read (even with chapters as short as these are) and not worth the effort of complaining about.
Still....
There is literally zero development in the relationship between Oomiya & Yuizaki from beginning to end. Also, Yuizaki is one of the biggest planks of wood I've seen in a manga. Her characterization is extremely lacking from beginning to end; there really is nothing more to her than "I love shot put". Then there's the cringe-worthy insertion of Ouji as a "rival" far too late to make any difference. It's a stupid and pointless diversion from a story that isn't even going anywhere. The plot is meh, done better in far too many other manga. To sum up: this is not a romance manga, it's not funny, the plot is generic, and the characters are dull. Was it axed? If not, why wasn't it? If it was, why not axe it way earlier?
