Had high hopes mc gets a FL to, BUT a nother waifu bites the dust and in new season he basically calls all the noble ladies together and pretends to be a sickly almost dead so no woman wants him and he can go play doctor with system...a fiancée would have been a nice change. But now i see hes same as all tower climbing, portal clearing wanna save and get stronger freaks..theres no need to continue this.
There is no point in the MC being a doctor if he only does traditional medicine. Worst of all is how the author mixes all the misconceptions of Asian medicine with his backstory. The MC would've been better off being a pharmacist or just the owner of a traditional shop.
I mean, physiotherapists do use needles to remove tension, and drugs, painkillers, and traditional remedies have always existed, but saying cure-all exist IRL as background infuriates me. I mean, writing about something you don't know about and mixing superstition is the worst.
All in all, the MC meets the swordsman in about chapter 12, so I guess it'll follow the route of the prequel and stay good for a couple of arcs.
