Yuuji is a single man in his thirties who lives a dull life. One day, he learns that his new neighbor is his childhood friend and first love, Hikari. She is already married to her classmate, but even then she hasn't changed much except for the fact she looks like she lives in poverty. His heart flutters at the thought of seeing her again.

However, he hears her being forced to have sex by her husband in the room next door, and then shortly after Yuuji somehow gets transported years into the past.
