The beginning was appealing. However as the series goes on the behaviors and conversations tend to become irrational and stupid. I really can't keep up with the logic, and I don't think a whole class + their teacher + could get so cheap as to join in this type of conversation.
Its a bit too childish? maybe? like they're all in elementary school or something. And just when I thought the bullying cliche was over it started in another way.

But if you're the type that likes heroine resists bullying etc. you could give it a try.

Started out really good but then gradually got worse. It becomes overly dramatic and the heroine who was originally a strong character turns out to be ignorant and delusional and has a extremely warped perception. You can argue that it's because she is humble...but there's a limit to how humble one can be before they're mistaken for being stupid. What's worse is that she's stubborn too, so she's set on being in denial about almost everything. Frankly, this manga becomes very irritating to read. I'd recommend reading the first 15 chapters or so and then just drop it because the plot is going nowhere.

I just love this manga! The girl is always composed and super honest. Other call it personality problems I call it honesty. She doesn't go all two-faced, more like she tells them what's in her mind and all. VERYY TOUGH. At first I would've thought of her gothic but now I do see how beautiful she is(as a manga character). This is definitely a must read!!!

this manga is soooo good! you wont regret reading it. At first i couldnt get in to it because well... i though Maria was weird... but now she's one of my favorite Shoujo Heroines ever! She's cool, blunt, not wimpy, strong, cute!! she's so cool!!! and Megu... GOD i love him!!! i do like the other guy but we all knew that she would be with Megu, and he wasn't much of a threat, its not much of a love triangle we just know the other guy is crushing on her. But we all know who we like better, the other guy is more of a friend

I can't get enough of how brilliant this manga is! For instance the art!!!-most times I have to look at it twice, just to lap up the nicely done character poses! And the humour is fantastic too. I love the plot line and I love how the mangaka discusses the complexity of each individuals' personality. And I love the unique characters in the story too!

overall, loved it.

*waits anxiously for new volumes* XD

This manga had a quite high marked, that's why i picked it up. I found the girl bit bizzare at first..but i think she's very frankly and had a very unique mindset. It's quite refreshing to see such a strong gals like that..

i love this manga so much, i also feel i am like her, smart with a stupid mouth. i couldn't wear a mask to save my own hide, that's probably why i love her so much. her honesty and bluntness make me love her even more. it's annoying though that it's a love triangle because i really hate love triangles. this manga though is really about the darker side of the human nature, which i absolutely ADORE! but what i find funny is that she can't see herself at all really, she's kinda of oblivious to certain things that seem really obvious. she's also cute in a weird way. i get pissed off though and seriously want to kill some characters, like really kill some characters, especially that a-hole teacher! but it makes me feel an even deeper connection and empahty for the main character. definitely an AWESOME manga, probably one of the best out there. i actually wish there were more characters like her in manga. blunt, honest and no-nonsense. 10/10

But tis one`s really good, both the art and the story. And it has good bits of humor and mystery, so even if you are a fan of other genres you can still enjoy it and have fun ^^.

I rather like how this girl thinks. I also rather like how mr.popular explains about himself.
Seems like there are people who rage at the characters, well there are plenty of girls in petty revenge mode, guys in petty butthurt mode in this series. But that shouldn't matter. What matters is that this series seems to hit the nail on the head on a number of matters, and is quite a collection of inconvenient truths. Hopefully it doesn't get stupidly preachy and trip over itself later on. You can also ask yourself whether you want to be like the protagonist, though I probably already know the answer to that.

At times inventive and surprising with such a thinking heroine who isn't prone to exploding her messy emotions everywhere, and crafty girls who know how to manipulate people in actually smart ways. I appreciate that. Sometimes falls into becoming too sentimental.
