Description

3/16/2024 - Can't rate it because i dropped it too early.
I find the plot (or what I've seen from chapter 3 anyway) interesting but the English translation is pretty bad... It's readable but it's kinda awful. Might pick it up again if an actual scans group picks it up or if it got an official localization
The plot sounds interesting so far but I was annoyed at how the it feels like the author is too lazy to elaborate by using stuff like
- "the (fictional) author of the novel puts Luberia into the novel to balance out the og heroine so that's why Miss L is kind of powerful"
- "Miss L might have a reputation as a sickly, delicate lady in society but the truth is she's very powerful supernaturally and she can't control that power. When she was young she injured someone when trying to help them so that's why she holed herself in her family's estate and the general public only know her as a sickly lady. She actually can take down many of her family knights during training!" Boo. Doesn't make sense.
For the second point: I thought her family is important enough in the kingdom (and therefore loaded?) and her dad loves her or at least see some value in her (prev chapter shows that he's bragging to other nobles about how beautiful her daughter is, trying to 'sell' her beauty to the king)
If that's the case, then can't her family call a mage or something to help her control her power? Instead they're letting her hide herself in the estate? How does that make sense
If the translation wasn't so awkward (feels like MTL smoothed out with deepl?) I think I could have toughed it out a few more chapters, especially since the plot feels fresh and the art is pretty good (if a little janky sometimes)
but well...
