Oka Torao loves Shoujo manga and his dream is to become a mangaka. But every time he submits a draft he is completely shot down because his stories are nothing like what girls would want to read and his drawing completely sucks. On the first day of his second year of high school he falls in love at first site with Nakamura Taki, a girl famous for her good looks but terrible personality. Anyone might think a boy wanting to be a shoujo mangaka is strange, but when Taki finds out about it she tells Torao she thinks it's disgusting. However, Torao finds out that Taki's older sister is the famous shoujo mangaka who changed Torao's views on shoujo manga. Torao's ecstatic that he gets the chance to work on his favorite manga, but why does Taki hate shoujo manga so much?
