Ah, Youth!

YUMEKA Sumomo has always impressed me with her art work, story, plot, characterization, pacing, narrative framing, flow, character development (when it happens), thematic coherence, and tenderness with which she treats her subject matter is simply touching. Whether shounen ai, shoujo or seinen, she brings her personality to bear on all her works.
This one is also very much in stride with her particular style. A light hearted, and yet passionate story about youth and its attendant problems as our heroes find their footing and each other. I am a bit disappointed that there is no continuation for this. I would have really liked to see how their relationship develops.

Heh, this is a nice little story, and school boys are always delicious to look at (omg I sound like a real old geezer now. This is what BL has done to me lol) It feels like a cool, gentle breeze in the summer, as weird as that may sound. There's enough heat and passion to bring things alive but still calm and soothing, just like a summer breeze that relieves everything on its way. I think that metaphor describes this one-shot perfectly.

so cute and so moe! i really love the sedate atmosphere here, it make their relationship even more real and profound. and the devilish attitude by the black haired guy at the end is very cool. love this.
