Description

Isaeng and Jeongto were inseparable childhood friends until Jeongto’s father died tragically at the hands of a bitter soul. These two friends reunite ten years later as adversaries: Isaeng guides souls to the afterlife, while Jeongto gives souls another chance to live. plot holes don't take away from quality

As a lot of comments have already said, there are several plot holes. Since I was never a fantasy-fan anyway, I didn't pay too much attention to the lore. Despite that, the relations of the characters to each other stood out more to me, even if it was a minor character and they were woven so well, that it made for an interesting dynamic force of the plot. The ending was satisfying, personally not, but it was the most obvious (and logical) outcome.

I read this to chapter 44, its reallyyy goood so far. The story in general is slow and isn't fully logical, but if you need smth to waste your time-- go for it.

Wasn't expecting much, but I'm so happy I gave this a chance (and I think whoever reading this should too). The premise of the story is definitely very unique, and it's nothing like I've read before. It's got really funny gag moments written in and the artwork is beautifully drawn.

What I like most about it is that it's totally unpredictable--the plot...the MC's love interest...it just keeps on developing! Sadly, I already caught up to chapter 41, but I can't wait to read more!

Interesting story with a little flaw

I wrote this because I disagree with post below in one part. It has interesting premise and the art is also pretty good, but I found several holes in the story. Currently read until ch.24.

- The bad spirit’s power is too flashy. 1st wife was just a normal person who died with grudge, imagine if all spirits who died with grudge can shatter glass and choke people. She is also leaving too many witnesses when she broke the building’s glass.

She never attacked the kid who she tried to kill when she was still alive... yet, she had time messing around with mc and her bestfriend while she was being chased by grim reapers.

She choked her husband (who she got a grudge with) twice, never killed him while she easily killed jeongto’s father (just because he was a virtuous person) with one strike at the heart...

The grim reapers are too incompetent (I know this is for comedic purpose). They were having difficulty handling a vengeful spirit that the king of hell must do it himself. Surely, they have handled countless bad spirits before? Also, they keep falling for the same trap which makes them look like idiots.

And this is the biggest flaw in the story. It’s weird how the scroll become a physical object that a normal person can touch, see, and messed with. Jeongto has no spiritual power, he can’t see them, he can’t touch them, but he can accidentally “steal” the dead scroll from one of the grim reapers.

Overall, it's an enjoyable story if you are not a prick like me~

First of all, amazing art by Yuno. I’m in love with characters and storyline, and there’s no obvious plot holes that weaken the story. Very strong beginning, and I’m looking forward to what’s next.
