This was a delight to read. I wish it was longer but at the same time, the short length and ending was enough. It gave what it had to give and delivered it satisfyingly. The art and its eerie, somber atmosphere kept me pulled in, they match so well! The genre's drama so the dialogue had this mature yet emotional tone to it but the author wrote it so well, imo. And my favorite are the characters with the bittersweet glimpses of their lives.
My favorite dialogue was from the main girl to the person she admires:
"To you, I was like a stray dog. You would shower me with love when you saw me. But you never looked for me when I was gone. Maybe every once in a while, you'd think, "huh, haven't seen her around around." I'm nothing but a fleeting thought."
