Description
Maki confessed to his bestfriend Katsumi, but was told that he was "disgusting".
They are coincidentally reunited after 10 years apart. Although their reunion should be a joyous one, Maki discovered that the once straight man is now sleeping with men who have dangerous reputations.
Little did he know, after once being assaulted, Katsumi began to have violent sex to punish himself for hurting Maki in his terrible self-protection.
In response to those feelings, Maki says:
"Katsumi-kun, I will punish you."

I really liked the premise but he
The art is really good but the seme's design...... leaves a lot to be desired.
Main top is soooo vanilla I'm 😴
The one-shot couple is cute but not much there (being a one-shot).
Kinda bland and underwhelming unfortunately, but it's decent lol.

I read this without looking much into the description, and I was pleased that what started as a common trope turned into something entirely new. The art is absolutely beautiful. The story is heartbreaking and a little angsty, which I'm a sucker for. It ends happier than it starts, which makes it my favorite kind of story. While the story does include rape and sexual violence, it's treated as a very serious issue and the victim is given a chance to recover. So far the most respectful handling of rape I've seen in yaoi.
I also really liked the extra story, although I would have liked to see a little more about their reunion/reconciliation, since Daiya was so unkind to Yusuke.

The artwork is really good. I especially love how the artist drew the eyes and hands.
On another note, the story needs a strong trigger warning for rape and sexual assault. It's really sad how Katsumi got into a terrible cycle of self-harm through sex but Maki is so gentle and I hope that he will properly heal through their relationship.
The second story at the end was okay. Nothing significant other than the fact that the uke is a strong small guy.

both stories in this volume are somewhat simple, but both are very heartfelt and have great characterization, despite the rather short length. I'm surprised the first story packed as much dramatic punch as it did despite being on the short side for an angsty story. It is still rather short, however. I would have liked to see this story a little more fleshed out, but it is still very good as is.
Second story was very cute!! I love the trope of a city person escaping to the countryside and being out of their element. Characterization was done nicely in this story as well. I loved it!
The art in this manga is absolutely to DIE for. I'm going to keep an eye on this mangaka now.

After not reading any manga in about two months, this hit me hard!!! So well done!! The art wasnt flawless but it delivered the feels properly!!!
Humans are weak, they break easily. Im glad Maki found Katsumi. I wish every broken person would find someone like Maki to save them.

If the cover art didn't already own my soul, the first few panels would've stolen it. The facial expressions, the elegant artstyle....simply beautiful

Maki is really sweet and forgiving, without him idk what will happen to Katsumi. And the artwork is so good. Reminds me of Zariya a bit. The second story is cute and light, especially after reading the heavy first few chapters. So overall, I really recommend you to read this manga!
