Description
A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality: The village boy Han Li was born poor. To subsidize households expenses,he joins the Qixuanmen Sect. This is truly a journey and not your usual cheat cultivation MC. It has the vibe of a regular guy traveling the world to collect the resources he needs to slowly cultivate. The MC is untalented, so he gets little support from others. To get the resources he needs, he has to rely on his cheat artifact that accelerates plant growth and learning various trade skills. He also seems to have a talent to get caught in dangerous situations, where he kills them if he can or runs if he can't!

The cn this is based on is one of the best cultivation stories out there. Personally, I wouldn't want to read an adaptation out of a risk of a lack of faithfulness to the original. The creative liberties possible taken with a adaption, even with the original, is a risk. I don't doubt though, that a comic version would have superior pacing, at the cost of the characters. Every chapter in the novel is filled with meaning and purpose. It'll be a long haul though.
