First time i read this manga when i was in elementary school. I was taking an english training class (outside the school) and that place has a small library where you could borrow books/comics. I was hooked by it then slowly starting to buy this series. It tells the story of a kid, even when he is blessed with extraordinary talent in kungfu, he still needs to work-hard, keeps training, and faces difficulty in life to get even better at kungfu. He meets rivals and friends on his journey. Gaining admiration from many people, including the China Emperor himself. Until the end, Chinmi's simple and humble personality is the one i like the most. Nothing like any popular shounen main-char we have nowadays.
im not actually sure....

One of the greatest manga i've ever read.
The plot is deep, the character is unique, the humour is refreshing. Art were a little to follow at the start, but if you keep your patience, it will improve much more later on. And the sequels of it are even better
