I've read this many times over. Since when? Since 2009 and I can't just get enough. This manga is timeless. Lovely and sweet even years have passed. This invokes emotions of sweetness and love.

A somewhat light-hearted work with enough drama thrown in to spice things up, this manga is actually very well-written imo. It's not over the top and could even be perceived as moderately realistic, and the manga's biggest selling point I think is definitely the main characters and their dynamic as a couple together. The romantic but not all-smooth-sailing love that they share is relatable to an extent, and ultimately you just can't help but root for them in the end. I also like the artwork and designs here, they work well at enhancing each character's personality.

I was not expecting this to be as well written when I originally started to read it, but I was surprisingly mistaken. This has to be one of my favorite series. The way that the mangaka wrote it is perfect and leaves you wanting more small episodes. The story is also just slightly cliched but still has originality.

If you're sick of those guy meets guy = sex stories then this one is a must read! The characters are unique, quite comical and they have an ATTITUDE which is really rare in most stories. The seme and uke don't succumb to physical "AhEm" but rather they try to convey their feelings to each other. This is a really well-thought out manga despite it being so short. I don't give out a lot of 10's but this one is definitely a 10.

Why did it take me so long to read this?

A lot of yaoi blogs I read recommend this manga but I read the description and I was hesitant to read it. I put it off for pretty much a whole year lol I finally read it today and the first chapter was like okay but as I read on it was pretty good. I regret not reading it sooner.

I was a bit hesitant to read this but I'm glad I got over it. The beginning didn't really catch me but I turned the pages anyway...without noticing the way it slowly pulled me in.
I'm so happy to have read this. It was touching and yes, I agree with another reviewer that this might yet be my favorite student-teacher romance. I have quite an aversion to the student-teacher genre, instilled by reading one too many horribly done shoujo/yaoi.
I have a few exceptions but each are different and truly stand out from the genre. This one has since been added to that very short list.
This manga is recommended. I find this softcore but it's done very well and the light humor was enjoyable. The drama is not forced and it just---it's just so--so...It's hard to explain because ch.5 was just so...I loved this.

The part that truly got me going 'Uwaaaaaaah' like some baby was when Kazu-san(nickname the uke hates) sees the ache in Yuuya for the piano and to play it once again. Yuuya concedes to play for Kazu-san for the first time in a long time...I know that Yuuya is just a 2D character but damn, the mangaka was able to portray the longing for the piano so well in him.
I admit I'm pretty biased about the piano thing. I love the piano so much and just knowing that I might never be able to play as I once did just kills...like if I ever lose my eyesight with which I won't be able to read anymore or see colors or see the people I love...I'd rather---nevermind.

First, whoever translated this (at least a few of the chapters) is awesome. Sometime I forgot it was a translation - it sounded very nearly like normal English! (With stuff like, "No shit, Sherlock!" in there). I almost never had to slog through awkward sentences! I think I love this translator. <3
The art is great, the story is interesting, the uke isn't scared of sex and the seme isn't freakishly possessive. An A+ in my book!
The story is great. It's been done, but not done so well! The two main guys' personalities play well off each other, and they have really good chemistry. It's kind of cute when the seme says he'll win the uke over, and the uke says to give it a shot but that he won't help. It's cute because they've already fallen for each other, and now it's just kind of a flirty game of catching up to that fact. Again, it has a lot of common cliches, but it's handled in a way that makes it readable and fun.

I don't usually read teacherxstudent relationship stories because they seem to get too frustrating but this one was an exception.
It's rare for a Seme to act like an Uke and an Uke to act like a Seme but that's pretty much the case here @_@ And usually, the teacher in this story is actually wary of the situation at hand and it's nice to finally see the teacher understand the consequences that could occur. Usually it's, "I'm a teacher but i'll him do me anyway" Which I find disturbing.
I came to care for the characters. Both of them had insecurities but you could tell when both of them fell madly in love with each other. The art is clean and appealing, nothing too amazing but still very easy on the eyes. =)

I enjoyed the realistic story line you always read manga of teacher and student relationships and nobody get caught. This is the first one i read tht deals with the issue of being caught the consequences and yet through it all their love still prevails. I seemed more realistic to me.

I just love this manga. The plot practically blew me away along with the art. In this story we could actually see the vulnerability of "Sensei". Unlike typical student-teacher relationships manga goes, where the sensei's mostly the one who's the got the upper hand..confident..no fear. In here, especially in the last chapter where Sensei cried saying how he'd lose himself in this love..I think that was such a fear so close to reality. I mean, usually they would say "of course I'll wait" but deep inside they feel otherwise.. So i'm glad the mangaka conveyed what Sensei honnestly felt. After reading this story, I read all of her works. No regrets. I would read this so many times over and over and I usually dont re-read stories.
