"Being An Alpha Sucks"

This is one of the few ABO manga that straight-up says "being an Alpha sucks." It shows how sucky being an Omega is, as they so often do, but its real "wtf" moments hit with Renji. If you're in it for the sex, you will be left wanting. If you read with the thought in mind that it is a love story for Haru but psychological story for Renji, you'll get a different flavor from the story entirely. Some of the mangaka's other works are similarly "not happy," so it's not a stretch to say this was intentional.

At the start I was into it. They had an interesting, if not unoriginal dynamic. But then the brother shows up. He has a disgusting personality and yet the uke still chooses him, because 'he's his first love'. The plot is awful and I only finished it for the ending, which was even worse (can't expect much out of an omegaverse story though). None of the characters have original personalities, and the uke is the most boring and cliche character I've ever seen. I don't recommend.

I ducked out of "In the Cage" in chapter 6, effectively at the "climax". Hot garbage. I would claim it was completely innocuous and banal, if it wasn't also for the insultingly trite plot, characters and aesthetic. This greatly demonstrates the double-sided elements of the tropes associated with "omegaverse". The mechanics of the second gender system can bind individuals together with drastically different personalities, goals and status. This can lead to very fun pairings (e.g. Megumi to Tsugumi), but also to instances of passion/romance where none should ever exist i.e. in this godforsaken story. The characters in this story are sooooo boring, and in the rare instance where an extra dimension is hinted at (e.g. the apparent "dark side" of the older brother), it isn't expanded upon whatsoever. Furthermore, when the "dark side" of the older brother is "revealed", it leads to some perfunctory drama to extend the story a further chapter. Asinine, irritating, ugly and as enjoyable as porridge oats made with water.

Are you f*cking me?! I read first 4 chapters, but where the hell are the rest?! I’m already intrigued by this story, but it didn’t end all the way, and there no other websites including missing chapters. This website is a liar! Until I find and read all, I’m rating this 8.

One of the best omegaverse ever. I truly love it.
The plot was so interesting, but at first you can think this is the typical story and imagine how is going to end. But that doesn't happen.
this has a real good twist so I take it.
I don't like when the uke is weak and an idiot (that matter didn't change) but you really want to protect him cause he goes through a lot an you'll understand why he's like that. (My poor child)
OK there's two Alphas, one is an total selfish asshole (a piece of crap) and the other one is a prince who respect his partner thinking only about him and will do whatever it takes to make him happy, also he never try to force the omega because he wanted to captured him, no! He want to let the omega choose by himself... he's a truly the best Alpha among all the omegaverse mangas, he's in my top ten.
This also talks about the destined partner and how it's not just physical responding but more than just that.
This is so beautiful, really wonderful.
Finally where the Alpha mc doesn't act like an animal.
