The story was OK, but starting from ~ch75 the drowning style was changed for worse and the story quickly came to an end. Some conflicts left unresolved. Really unpleasant experience.

The story isn't the worst of its kind, at times it can feel like something was cut or a scene is missing, I don't know if that is deliberate of if it is unintentional.

The characters try to act according to the things happening around them, but they lean a little too much into because plot says so territory. For example the FL wants to catch her 2nd sister in a trap so she plans and waits patiently to catch her. However she accuses her sister with no evidence to back herself up. The only reason her plan worked is b.c the author made her second sister dumb. No one threatened her sister or her maid, but the maid just starts confessing to things nobody interrogated her on up until the author said "stop I want you to keep the rest a secret". The maid confessing like that was a little out of character, especially since she was under no pressure and showed no fear as she refused to bow. Now if the maid would have bowed or cowered while confessing, then I'd say fear got the best of her, but she wasn't afraid when she confessed. (Note: I say this knowing that the maid may be trying to manipulate the FL, but this is the 2nd point I will be making in how the author doesn't spotlight character motives too well.)

There is a lot of stuff happening and there are at least 9 or more different characters scheming behind closed doors, but the story I believe doesn't properly spotlight them in a way that doesn't feel so jerky. For example there is a scene where one of the sisters motives is shown, it is a very short scene placed in the middle of another scene dealing with the FL who isn't doing anything that demanded that other scene be inserted at such a place. Scenes are not inserted like that all the time, but my point is a lot of the character pov jumps and expositions of the characters are not as smooth as other stories I've gotten to read, and this can make scenes feel cut off or incomplete.

While I did make it to Chapter 43, I personally wouldn't recommend this to anyone, but I also wouldn't tell someone not to read it, you can tell the author is trying to connect dots and trying to tell a story while attempting to slowly reveal the truth. If you are looking to kill some time and have nothing else to read then it doesn't hurt to take a look at this, you may find you like it.
