Why do i like this series so much (except for the last 2 chapters):
ML is head over heels for FL ✅
He is clingy ✅
He is sweet ✅
He respects her choice ✅
He is head over heels (điều quan trọng nhắc lại hai lần)
Slow burn romance that feels authentic ✅
He gets jealous a lot ✅
but is not toxic (or at least thats what i feel) ✅
No unnecessary stupid palace violent drama ✅
Satisfying ending ✅
Kids ✅ Weddings ✅
Also, what i like about fml is that even though she was a strong general in previous life, but when she falls in love for the first time, we can see her inexperience and confusion which is really cute and relatable <3
What i don't like:
What irks me the most in this series is in the last extra chapters - when they both died because of old ages, fml is reincarnated (or something). At that universe, ml has been the father figure to fml. I could have turned a blind eye bc i liked this series a lot and 'it's only fiction' UNTIL
There are some other minor things i don't really like is the second male lead's character. It's like they don't have anything to tell us readers about him. What is his life motives, what about his family, how did thetoo: rl - previous fml's original body end up liking him? He's just...there, until someone steals his body, which is a waste for his pretty character design. His feelings are inconsistent too.

the illustration: is generally pretty, but it lacks the subtle and detailed visual storytelling that can only be seen if you noticed the details enough. In other word, it tells too much without showing. The art gets more slipshod in the ending, well, as expected of Chinese manhua... 🙁( (i mean we should feel grateful it is not axed)
