Probably in my top 10 Isekai's? Ch1-52

This series has an interesting premise, characterisation, lore and plots. Outside of a few snaffu's it's pretty well written and I'm glad it's not as of yet axed. Be warned though as mentioned this is a more politically written series so if you hate lack of action and long windy talks and 4d chess conversations/actions then this isn't the series for you.

I know it has the ecchi genre but honestly it really doesn't feel like it. Although I appreciate the MC's traits as he isn't OP nor is he omniscient/omnipotent. I also like the more realistic take on modern tech meets archaic, as I was sick of series being like "Modern 15yr old japanese girl knows how to make paper and the paper framing needed" it's just rediculous.

8/10 from me, highly recommended read and I hope it continues to keep away from being some trashy harem longer (At the time of writing the MC has gone out of his way to avoid more then his wife very refreshing)

But kinda hoping that this focused on the "bed" action too, like in the early series...

Politics, politics and more politics.

The main character is not special in any way that matters, he has some stuff that makes him special but he can't use those things from chapter 1 to 24 he has not been able to use his powers and i have only read up to chapter 24 since that's the latest chapter when i write this. Anyways the main character is useless in all ways other than making offspring not H-stuff in this manga though.

Anyways the entire manga is about Politics, a metric ton of dialog and almost no action, so this manga is clearly not for everyone, that being said i like it, and if the chapters came out weekly instead of monthly i could forgive the fact that it's very slow and very little happens.

Good isekai

A pretty good isekai with a small twist being that the MC is more of a supporter to his wife who is a Queen. It is great seeing an isekai MC who has such love and devotion to his wife and the romance in the beginning is quite heart warming.

*Spoiler*
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
However, Family Size and Political issue, forces MC to eventually take more than one wife.
Reason being the current size of the Royal Family, which is currently standing at 3 members only (4th one would be revealed to be coming soon after the current arc is over).
The Queen don't even have any direct blood-relatives left alive either, so in order to maintain power and standing, Queen has to increase her family size. By luck MC is someone who has the Royal blood running in him, she has to make use of it properly by taking on more wives.

Some will probably be disappointed since many would have been attracted to their lovey-dovey relationship in the beginning but the political intrigue in my opinion still makes this an interesting story.

So far, not bad

A more mature take on the isekai genre, this is a welcome change for those tired of the hero read trope, still, there are some things I find rather lacking, for example, the pace, there is little going on, and I don't mean action, even interesting dialogues would do, there is some intrigue at play but it doesn't play out and is kept at shallow levels. Another example is the little impact the knowledge of this world is making, he had time to take whatever he wanted from this fantasy world, are you telling me he didn't even install an encyclopedia in his laptop? If it was me, let alone the encyclopedia, I'd be sure to pack all the information he could gather on science and medicine and crafting, I'd take precautions to avoid misuse but I definitely would take them. In any case, he took electricity and many gadgets, that alone should be ultra revolutionary yet the Queen just comment something on the light-bulb... What brings a big change to the country? glass marbles... nop, not joking

In any case, the MC is different from the usual guy high on his own power that collects women only to not touch them. Right off the bat the MC is there to marry and thus he actually has proper relations with a woman and even seams like a loyal fellow. Also, he's a proper grown-up, someone who knows the hardships of a life as a salary-man and chose this new world to his previous life, so he acts accordingly, unlike other such settings where the MC's mind seams to revert to their adolescence instantly, ej. "Tensei deshitara slime...". As for the female lead, she's a decent char I guess, I like how she keeps checks on the MC to see if he's a hypocrite, and some of the more conflicting things are probably because their society is highly male dominant society. Actually, the story might have been more interesting told from her perspective.
Story-wise, so far it's been rather uneventful as I say above, the intrigue goes nowhere, there are few problems or they are just explained lengthy just with words and then forgotten, as of now it's starting to move forward so it's too soon to tell, so far kind of boring other than the relation of the MC and female lead.
Other than that, art is good, dialogues a bit lengthy but decent and the relation of the two main chars is good enough imo.

So overall, an interesting take which I need to see more to make a proper opinion but so far, not bad.

Good Novel

This story was enjoyable to read, and I am not quite sure why. The novel is about a guy who worked very long hours 6 days a week who gets summoned to a different world to marry the queen, the reason he is summoned is to be someone who was related to the royal family several generations ago and is thus a reasonable candidate. The setting is in a rather generic summoning genre world, but the stories conflict is the protagonist is trying to be a lazy good for nothing person who's only use is to produce off spring so that in the male dominated society the queen can rule her kingdom without issues. It's a new concept of the summonee is not meant to be very important and it was very enjoyable to read and I have been checking for updates for a third volume every couple of weeks and I would defiantly suggests checking it out over at Unlimited Novel Failures.

THIS REVIEW WAS WRITTEN ONLY AFTER HAVING READ UP TO CHAPTER 12

Can I just say wow? I don't think I've ever gone into a series expecting less and been so so wrong. If you read the description or look at the cover art your first reaction will probably be "Really? Another isekai harem? When will the SAO wannabes finally die?", and then you will precede to read (I read all the chapters of risou no himo seikatsu rifters manga here online) it anyway as a guilty pleasure because you're bored trash and have nothing better to do.

Allow me to say one thing:

READ THIS MANGA.

So you know how typical isekai protagonists are some hated garbage of humanity, they die unexpectedly, end up in a new world, become super op, and have a truck load of girls they sleep around with? This manga is nothing like that. Lots of political intrigue, some thought was put into the plot, the mc isn't some awful guy that sleeps with anything that isn't male, and it has a lot of unexpected twists. I am constantly worried that the author is going to revert back to cliche isekai tropes, and then I am always equally impressed that the author makes original choices and plot developments.

Yeah, it's just really good. I gave it a 9. Did I give it such a high score because I was expecting something way worse? Probably, but perhaps that is what makes it so enjoyable.

I tried reading the novels because I was eager for more chapters since the day of release of chapter 1. I was put off immediately by the lack of literary prowess from the author.
I rather stick to this version, it has been a really good read so far.

Think Spice and Wolf...

Here we have, again, two attractive people, a man and a woman, well drawn both in the picture sense and in the character-creation sense. They are set into a world of amazing complexity. In S. and W., the complexity was in the medieval economics, which the main male character had a good grounding in, but had to learn more. In fact, his learning/understanding more of that world's economics was essential to the survival of the two of them! The main female character contributed a deep, ancient understanding of human nature.

Here the complexity that the main male character must master is the intrigue of an aristocratic court, which the main female character already has a good grasp of.

This setup is virtually guaranteed to bring us lots of exciting intrigue and learning, both at once. Further, because the female M.C. is a hottie, this manga is perfect for males. And its perfect for female readers, who always seem to want a strong woman, too—cuz no-one's stronger than a queen!

If you like learning stuff, or figuring out stuff, or solving mysteries, I think you'll like this manga. I'm thrilled with it. I've read enough to believe that it's unlikely to lapse into silliness later.
