Description

Mail addressed to the previous resident, Shinoda Haruki, frequently arrives in the room where Tasaki moved due to a transfer. Haruki got in touch and apologized for the left over items. Before leaving, Haruki begs Tasaki to let him rent a room since he has no where else to go. Tasaki decides to let Haruki stay for a limited time, even after finding out Haruki is gay.

Overall: bland stories that meander without anything actually interesting happening, characters getting together because plot, lots of clichés of the genre, abrupt endings, art that is occasionally janky and all the ukes are basically the same character model.

Tounan Kadobeya Kare no Koi - 4/10 - closed-off uke (Tasaki) meets a younger, friendlier seme (Haruki) and discovers that he's gay. Their romance happens because plot, and it's based off of Haruki being literally the only person Tasaki has dated, that can relax around him.

20-punkan no Himitsu - 3/10 - perverted tutor molesting his student while he was asleep and then lying about it. Bleh.

Mannequin wa Warawanai - 3/10 - because they had a short talk once, Yabuki pines after another student (Takanashi) who wants to become an idol. Clunky dialog, zero emotion. I get the impression that the mangaka tried to do something "deep" with this one, but it falls flat because the characters have zero depth and there's frankly no reason for Yabuki to fall so intensely for Takanashi.

Yopparai Mislead - 4/10 - Towa confesses his feelings to Maki while drunk, and Maki takes it as a joke. Surprise (to no one)—Mika actually likes him too! This story's main problem was how short it was, and Maki and Towa could be replaced with cardboard cutouts with no issue.

Abrupt endings completely ruined the stories

The stories were borderline boring to begin with, and they all ended very abruptly and unifinished, which left me pretty unsatisfied. I think even adding plus 4-5 pages in every story would have made a significant difference, but in its current state I didn't like this manga too much to be honest. The art is kinda pretty though, not the best, but I liked it.

It's a collection of one shots and to be honest I didn't like it. They ended up before anything happened. How boring. What's the purpose of writing the beginning of a story if you have no intention of making the end? I don't get it. And no, it's not like those stories had an "open ending", it feels like they were dropped. Moreover I didn't like the art. It's ugly. Well I was able at least to finish this book. I've read worse stories and this one is not the worst yaoi of the year but still it's not good. It's a waste of time, you were warned.
