I really don't like this.

The premise is interesting, but it's kind of boring. Not only that, I began disliking the main character because of her horrible treatment of the male lead dude.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I mean sure, he's cowardly, and he's not the coolest guy around, but she really turns him into her slave, and somehow, he's happy about it? Huh?
Somehow it turned into a weird love comedy between her, an angry dude in her class, and the coward male lead dude. and even though they are supposed to be 10 or something, the manga is bit graphic...is it supposed to be targeted towards lolicons? idk tbh, but it gives off that vibe.

I've been reading manga regularly since 2010, and I've learned through that experience that it's mostly all the same. Each genre has its standard stories and tropes, and the authors repeat them endlessly. This is to be expected. It's light reading, not high art, after all.

But every once in a while a mangaka comes along who is capable of taking one of the standard tropes to whole new places—or lengths. This story about a rich girl who is a total tsundere runs endless variations on what SERIOUSLY being such a person would mean. For the girl it's awful, but she can't seem to get a solid enough grip on what is wrong with her to try to change. For everyone around her, it's constant struggle and drama. And for us, it's alternating sadness and, amazingly, humor—a very large amount of humor.

But there's more to this than that. The main character is true-to-life! I happen to have been a combative person when I was a kid and teenager. The emotional upsets this girl goes through rang true to me again and again.

This manga is a true view of one strange kind of person...wrapped up in an amazing amount of humor. My thanks to Ciel Scans for bringing it to us.

This is one of the rare manga that have made me cry big fat tears and laugh like a hyena, sometimes at the same time. The story so far is interesting, and the characters are funny and loveable. I can't wait to see the rest of the chapters scantalated biggrin

I've been reading it in Japanese, even though I can't claim that I'm fluent. In fact, I have to look up nearly every word, that appears, on the dictionary. Despite how cumbersome that is, I really am enjoying myself. While I began reading this because I love tsundere, I found out, that the series was willing to go to places I didn't quite expect. Well, it progresses in more or less the way one would think it would after the first chapter's surprise. But there's great fun to be had in the "more or less" and it's well-worth a read.

A very meta, tongue-in-cheek look at the tsundere trope and what it would be like to encounter and deal with one in real life.
It's side splittingly funny and well written, but it is seinen, and it's played straight; and as you can see from some of the puerile comments below, the humor goes over younger readers heads.

I'll Pass

Based on the first chapter alone I'll pass on this one. Not that I'm surprised since I detest violent tsundere's to begin with so it's my own fault for even attempting it.

The art is decent, but is going to be wasted on this neanderthal looking male lead who looks like he's 40 instead of what 10? I mean I presume he is if the end of the chapter foreshadows it properly.

Granted, the first volume did give me moments of pause where I wondered whether to actually further pursue this series, but from the second volume on it develops quite nicely as a slice-of-life drama.

The good Mr. Shinofusa has a lot of good points going for him. (Some pretty damned awesome art being the advantage that doesn't change regardless of the manga.) So it's a mystery why he wants to throw it away on a story like this.
