This is a review I'm writing after re-reading the first 2 parts to start reading part 3. I've read this for the first time like a decade ago.
To start, the art of this Manwha is spectacular. Several times I wondered how it could be a weekly series. Action is amazingly portrayed and it's easy to follow. The story, while having a decent pace, is not as good as the first part, due to a few flaws (no spoilers):
-Authors decided to pull out two deux ex machina, one for the main plot point of this part, and, while it was explained eventually, left me unsatisfied. The other for MC development, which makes the main plot point of the first part almost irrelevant.
-Authors explain that "New waves" is due to the new, young characters appearing in this part, but OG characters, that were relevant to the story in part 1, are almost deleted, making them almost irrelevant for the overall story. The new characters are good, but it would have been good to mix both
- This part suffers A LOT of "character is about to lose but something unbelievable happens last second and the day is saved" trope. It happened less on part 1.
Overall is a decent-good martial arts series, with decent characters, but it suffers from being a sequel to one truly great series.
PS. I have a personal vendetta against the Authors to leave us without part 3 for almost a decade
